Christmas with Miguel
I did not prepare a spectacular, extravagant gift for Miguel this year because I had to keep in mind that I got him loads of stuff throughout the year. Add to that a trip to Hongkong and Boracay. I don't want to spoil him. So, to add pizzazz to my Christmas gift, I set-up a scavenger hunt for him and here's how it went-

Miguel and Mom Goes to Boracay!
Last weekend, Miguel and I on a whim packed our bags and headed for a short R&R in Boracay! It was raining quite a bit, but ti stopped for a while and Miguel managed to squeeze in some swim time. He most certainly enjoyed the waves, but ended up with a slight fever and cough in the evening. Oh well, at least I have finally managed to make him experience a domestic flight, a ferry ride and see a little bit of Boracay!
I wonder where our next stop will be. Hmm...

Sundays with Miguel
I have been following this routine for the past 13 years every Sunday -
8:30 a.m. - Wake up Miguel and tell him to take a bath. Sleep again.
9:00 a.m. - Wake up. Take a bath.
9:20 a.m. - Leave for Church
9:30 a.m. - Hear mass with Miguel. Serve in the Choir.
10:30 a.m. - Hi and hellos with friends.
11:00 a.m. - Head home. Pick-up Mom and Dad.
11:15 a.m. - Fit everybody in the car, Mom, Dad, Miguel and a couple of friends. Head for SMB.
11:20 a.m. - Lunch at McDo or wherever with Mom, Dad, Miguel and friends.
12:30 p.m. - Shopping.
2ish p.m. - Home.
A bit boring I know, but we normally deviate at least once a month. I realized though that with my friends moving, things are definitely going to change sometime soon. Oh well...
And the highlight of the day...

Miguel and Mom Jammin' #1: Leavin' on a Jet Plane
Miguel's been taking guitar lessons the past few weeks and since I got him a new guitar he's been practicing quite a bit. His Lolo has been requesting us to do a tandem and here is our very first recording.
Eeep! Please remember we're not really learned on the art of singing lol.
Notice how telegenic my boy is?
